CALGARY – Firefighters were called to a blaze that sparked at an abandoned structure in the city’s southwest on Friday morning.
The fire started in a field just south of 194 Avenue S.W. and Silverado Blvd S.W. at around 5:45 a.m.
Because of the location of the blaze, crews had limited water to fight the fire with.
